Since prior to the founding of End2End we have been constantly amazed by the way in which companies and individuals neglected this particular part of the business model. Very often we would find that the principals running the entity had a good grasp of where the company was heading, however this was generally confined to a gut feel and often could differ from Director to Director within the same organisation, and no plans were in place for a step change in business nor how to fund such a change.
The purpose of undertaking this service is to examine the entity with not only a fresh vision but also to perform a more scientific approach to evaluating the businesses core competences and ultimately producing a coherent strategy document which would be owned by all involved with the business itself. This provides clarity for the business as a whole and ultimately leads to the elimination of all non core and non value added activities.
We appreciate that this is an ongoing process and as such End2End promotes continued involvement and the review of the business periodically be that quarterly, half yearly or annually.
If it benefits the business End2End has on occasion joined the company either in a non executive director capacity, or indeed in some cases as an executive director to plug the skills gap and implement good corporate governance. This has proved very positive with the clients who use this service as it provides the insight and technical ability at a fraction of the cost, it also helps prepare the business for whatever changes may take place as a result of the strategy.
This review also ensures the development of the business is not only sustainable but also that the business can fund such development ensuring the business does not overtrade and run into difficulties.
