Is your business losing money on currency conversion in Spain?

One of the simplest (and most overlooked) ways expats lose money in Spain?
Currency conversion. This isn’t just a personal issue, it's a business one.
Currency conversion in Spain (from Sterling, US dollars or any other currency) impacts your entire treasury function if you’re setting up a subsidiary or managing group cash across borders.
I had a call last week with someone moving their UK pension.
They were losing hundreds a year in poor rates… without even realising.
Here's what I tell clients:
Use a proper FX service, not your high street bank
Watch transfer timings, especially around tax year cutoffs
And make sure your accountant’s factoring currency into your reporting
You don’t need to become a currency expert. You just need someone who’ll look out for this kind of thing.
If that’s something you’d find helpful, let’s chat.
